|Description:||Apple Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator (PSC) for its Bonney Lake clinic. Bonney Lake is a fast-pace, high volume clinic. This is a part-time position working 25 hours/week. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 to 7:00 PM. |

|Duties:||The position works alongside two Patient Service Coordinators to insure all facets of the clinic’s front desk operations are consistent with Apple Physical Therapy’s established operating policies, procedures and philosophy. The Patient Service Coordinator answers phones, takes messages, routes calls, greets patients in a friendly manner; schedules appointments and makes reminder calls; works with insurance companies and stays up-to-date on changes; verifies insurance benefits, informs patients of insurance coverage and assists with completion of forms; collects patient co-pays, deductible and co-insurance as required; insures medical record requests are handled promptly; sets up and maintains both active and discharged files in a complete and organized manner; performs weekly chart audit and follows up as needed; opens, sorts and routes mail; sorts and distributes faxes; makes photocopies and orders supplies.|
|Qualifications:||High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two years’ recent medical receptionist experience, medical terminology, and knowledge of insurance plans and referral procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Requires an upbeat personality, friendly customer service attitude, attention to detail, and experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and communication skills and regular, predictable attendance.|
